Google develops and releases some outstanding mobile tools and according to the Official Google Mobile Blog you can now try out Google Product Search for Mobile that is an optimized website for the iPhone and Google Android web browsers. Simply go to Google on your device and then go to Product Search to see the results in the US and UK.

You can check reviews, check the tech specs, find the lowest prices, and purchases products right from your mobile device. I use Google Products on my MacBook Pro and Windows PCs and will be testing this out very soon. There are some good mobile shopping apps already on these two devices and I particularly like using ShopSavvy on my G1.

You can try to go to the Google Product Search page in other mobile browsers too in order to see how well they perform compared to the browsers of these two platforms.

  • Iris on WM sometimes recognized too

If you are lucky enough to own a WM device, Iris browser is sometimes recognized as a "blessed" browser too. It is a decent browser too although a bit slower than Opera Mobile and doesn't reformat on resize.
