Will HTC be the first to launch a WiMAX-enabled mobile phone?
Apparently, HTC will be adding a WiMAX radio to a phone (I was wondering if phones would add this radio) and to make the experience even better for browsing the rumored specs show it as having a 3.8 inch 800x480 WVGA display, GSM radio, WiMAX radio, 802.11b/g radio, and Bluetooth radio. That is a whole lot of radios and antennas to fit into a mobile device and it will be interesting to see if it actually gets released. I would expect HTC to be the one to do it if any manufacturer would as they have devices that target people across the entire spectrum of mobile usage.
