Here’s something else to look forward to when Intel’s new Ivy Bridge processors ship next year: Their integrated GPU will be able to handle 4K display resolution.

Not only can it support up to 4096 x 4096 pixels, but it also can run multiple monitors simultaneously showing 4k videos. This is just one of the GPU’s improvement over Sandy Bridge’s integrated graphics — Intel also promises significantly faster performance and DirectX 11 support.

While 4K support sounds really cool, you’ll be hard pressed to find a plethora of compatible content. Yes, YouTube supports the format, and more pro video cameras are starting to shoot in the 4K format, but that still doesn’t add up to much currently. Furthermore, there aren’t any 4K displays to show all those pixels, though Intel’s clout could spur the industry to produce more 4K content and new monitors that can handle it. One question we may be waiting a long time to receive an answer for: Could the Ivy Bridge GPU run games at that high a resolution at playable frame rates?

I used to say that about sound cards and SCSI cards but on board sound and hard drive interfaces have come a very long way since then.

You'll likely see local apps like games use it long before anything else. I don't think you'll see it being streamed any time soon. Most people can't stream 1080p, much less this, which could easily take over 16 times the bandwidth of 1080p video.
@CobraA1 The correct answer is four, as 1920 is just under half of 4K, also you can buy 4K panels from Panasonic. http://panasonic.net/proplasma/products/152ux1/index.html

.
I would not buy a chip because of the GPU at this time.
I prefer to use a vid card of my choice.

The most important areas of a laptop will be the battery for laptop , specifically user wants to use the device within a place free of electric supply. Modern lenovo 3000 may last for about four to 5 hours, related to this method being run and therefore the energy usage. Howevere, if battery abruptly stops charging fully or holding its charge its maybe there time for one battery replacement. Could be done via a laptop battery store.

The shops

There are many hundreds thinkpad edge makers and retailers one could use. A good number of vendors have a presence by going online, and internet shopping from genuine internet vendors provides a more efficient variety. Internet websites provide high-quality products, a good number, and excellent customer service. The largest concern when acquiring a better must be to purchase a battery which inserts internet connected computers. Even, you need to find a battery by continuing to keep planned the model and produce from the notebook battery. You might even have the part number placed on the covering for the battery.

I bet a empty envelope on, that you will find a much cheaper solution, if you choose videocarts today that is able to run multiple monitors together.

Another thing is, the highest monitor resolution, that I can buy at this writing moment, is 2560x1440. So no matter how many pixels the GPU can support, it is still the same monitors that I have to look at ! In the configuration 2x3 or 3x2... depending on how you turn them.

The 3rd thing is that games and other fixed screen resolution programs will not be able to use GPU for many years !
