Casio has a pair of ultra-compact digital cameras to throw into the growing mix of summer releases: the 14.1-megapixel EX-S200 and EX-Z800.

Both of the new Casio shooters share a considerable amount of similarities, including using the Exilim Engine 5.0 processor, recording standard 720p video, and hosting a 2.7-inch LCD screen. The notable shared feature on these pocket cams is the Single Frame SR Zoom function, which extends the telephoto range of the 4x optical zoom by 1.5 times.

Casio has also integrated a feature called Premium Auto function, which automatically analyszes the scene and adjusts for a number of settings, including ISO, exposure, focus and many other qualities.

The main difference between the two new point-and-shoots are twofold: size and color availability. The EX-S200 is just 0.7-inches thick with a flat lens barrel, and it ships in five shades (silver, orange, blue, black, and pink). The EX-Z800 is slightly larger at 0.8-inches thick and it comes in six color variants (silver, black, blue, pink, yellow and red).
