At-home 3D video recording is becoming more of a reality all the time, and the DXG-5D7V pocket camcorder is the smallest one we’ve seen yet.

DXG’s mini-camcorder entry is supposedly the “world’s first” of its size. Compatible with both Mac and PC set-ups, the DXG-5D7V sports a 3.2-inch 3D TFT LCD screen (no funky shutter glasses required), 4x digital zoom, and supports SD cards up to 16GB.

Videographers can shoot 3D H.264 AVI clips and 5-megapixel stills, and then there’s always the usual 2D option available as well. To display the 3D creations, users can connect the recorder to a 3D display source via HDMI, USB and AV cables.

Given the notable extra feature, this compact camcorder costs more than its similarly-sized counterparts, with a price tag of $599.99.
