It’s a big day for digital camera releases. Hot on the heels of Panasonic, Fujifilm has a trio of releases today, starting with the fashionable and sleek FinePix Z800EXR.
Using a 12-megapixel CCD EXR sensor, the Z800EXR hosts a hybrid autofocus system that focuses the frame within 0.158 seconds of snapping the photo and offers contrast AF in dark settings.
Preset functions are the cornerstone of this pocket camera, such as super intelligent flash, face and pet detection as well as 360˚ horizontal panorama mode.
Everything else is pretty standard but useful, including a 5x optical zoom lens, a 3.5-inch rear LCD touchscreen, ISO up to 3200, and 720p HD video recording. For the social networking obsessed, there’s also an easy uploading feature to Facebook and YouTube.
Made in four shades (black, red, pink and gold), the Z800EXR will be available in late August for $229.95.
