The Leica M9, supposedly the smallest full-frame digital camera in the world, is available for pre-order now (body only) on Amazon, and the price will most definitely get you free shipping. By a lot.

Quite a beautiful magnesium-bodied, digital range finder camera, the Leica M9 is also powerful with its Kodak-developed 18-megapixel CCD sensor for the full 35mm format.

Other features include a 2.5-inch LCD screen, dual image processors and a new cover glass to suppress infrared light. It also supports SD cards up to 2 GB and SDHC cards up to 32 GB.

Now to what you should really know and might give you a heart attack: it’s selling for $6,995 on Amazon. I guess quality really doesn’t come cheap.
