One of the more frustrating parts of travel is ensuring all of your tech gadgets are powered up and ready-to-go. This can be especially important when you’re getting on a long cross-country or international flight. I, myself, cannot travel anywhere without my camera, iPhone and laptop at full power, or as close to it as possible.

Looks like Panasonic wants to help. The company is launching the Merge in-flight entertainment system, which will have USB ports for digital cameras, iPods, and anything else that powers up via USB.  You could even screen your photos on the television at your seat if you’d really like to give your seatmate/new best friend a slideshow of your recent adventure.

Panasonic’s Merge system is in the testing phase right now, set to take-off in September. Airlines already committed include Singapore, United, Avianca, Air New Zealand, and Swiss Air.
