Pandigital has another digital photo scanner to share. The Personal Photo Scanner/Converter is portable and doesn’t require a computer when digitizing print images.

All a user needs to do is plug in the scanner, insert the photo, and hit scan. Compatible with both Mac and PC systems via mini-USB, the 13.79-ounce Pandigital device can read anything from a wallet-sized snapshot up to the standard 8 ½ x 11-inch document, scanning at a 600 optical dpi.

An SD card is included in the box that you can write files to directly, but MS, MS Pro, MMS, and XD cards are compatible as well.

Pandigital’s Personal Photo Scanner/Converter isn’t the cheapest photo accessory being priced at $149.99. But if you’re planning to scan a lot of print photos, it might pay for itself over time.
