IFA 2010 is well under way in Berlin with a slew of new gadgets out and about, including this new Samsung HMX-T10 HD camcorder, which features a unique 20-degree slanted lens.

Besides serving up some new perspective, the real purpose behind the slanted lens design is to alleviate any discomfort to the videographer’s wrist or arm when filming.

On to some more important details, the compact HMX-T10 shoots full HD 1080/60i video and it captures 4.7-megapixel stills with that CMOS sensor and 10x optical zoom lens. Optical image stabilization and Smart Auto shooting mode are included, along with an SD/SDHC slot and a 2.7-inch LCD touchscreen (230K-dot resolution) that swings outward.

The Samsung HMX-T10 HD camcorder will roll out this month for the relatively reasonable price of $299.99.
