Following up last week’s announcement of the ST80, Samsung has announced the PL90, which cuts out the middle man with its own built-in USB connector.

The PL90 is a plug-and-play operation that can connect to any computer via USB, and it automatically installs the intelli-studio software for viewing the camera’s data.

Otherwise, you’ve got yourself a basic point-and-shoot camera with this one. The 12.2-megapixel shooter has 4x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch LCD display with side button controls, and use of the Smart Auto feature in both video and still modes.

Samsung’s PL90 will ship for the reasonable price of $149.99 this September.
