Sony has just unveiled a beautiful and sleek new pocket camcorder, the Bloggie Touch. While it looks more high-end and classy than previous Bloggie models, there’s definitely more to this one than just appearances.

The Bloggie Touch is capable of recording full HD 1080p MP4 video, and it even captures 12.8-megapixel photos with that Exmor CMOS sensor. Users can squeeze up to four hours of HD video recording time. The Touch also hosts a F2.8 wide angle lens with 4x digital zoom.

There are plenty of specs to improve the quality of video recording, such as Auto Macro mode for focusing on subjects as close as four inches away, as well as image stabilization and face detection. Connectivity is fairly simple with a built-in USB connector and HDMI output.

Given the name, buyers can obviously expect a touchscreen. In this case, it is a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen. Other design elements include the brushed aluminum finish, available in either black or silver.

Available in October, the Bloggie Touch will be available in 4GB (MHS-TS10) and 8GB (MHS-TS20) capacities for $180 and $200 respectively.
