Interview with Dell's Adam Garry and Kirsten Winkler

Interview with Dell's Adam Garry and Kirsten Winkler

Summary: Always a good talk when I chat with Dell's Adam Garry.

Last Friday I had the opportunity to chat with Dell's Adam Garry, one of their top education advisers and evangelists. Somewhat ironically, it was what I affectionately call "iPad Day", so, of course, we had Adam weigh in on tablets among other things. The interview is posted below, while the rest of the review:ed segment is available on my ZDNet review:ed page or over at Edukwest.

  • Here's a suggestion

If I get a Dell computer don't nag me by phone for a warranty when I didn't sign up and pay for one.

I don't want your warranty and I took your bloatware off the PC and put Windows 7 back on it without the crapware.
  • I bought four computers this year and one is a DELL ; (4 of 5 stars)....

Three of my computers I built, but one purchase came over the holidays this past December for my Mom. It is a DELL Ispiron Intel i3 2120 w/ 4GB RAM and 1TB hard drive; Windows7 64bit Home Premium. This was exactly the same specifications I put together for my younger brother. Both of them needed new hardware. I was very impressed with the quality that goes into a DELL computer and the price is unbeatable. They are both as fast as my Intel i7 2600 computer and an absolute upgrade for each of them.
