On Monday, May 17th, the SF MusicTech Summit brings together a mixed crowd of roughly 700 to the Kabuki Hotel in San Francisco’s Japantown for a lively discussion focused on the bustling intersection of music and technology.
Entrepreneurs, developers, investors, service providers, journalists, musicians and the organizations who work with them will discuss the evolving music/business/technology ecosystem.

The panel-laden schedule consists of three concurrent sessions throughout the  bulk of the day covering topics such as supporting the infrastructure of music-based websites, the rebirth of video, to making music on an iPad.

There are many unanswered questions facing an industry systematically undergoing tectonic shifts since the advent of the Internet.  This gathering of stakeholders could lead to ideas and decisions that shape the future of music, and indirectly, all digital content and culture.

I’ll be blogging the event, so stay tuned.
