Video trailers for next week's Siggraph 2010

Summary: SIGGRAPH, the world’s largest computer graphics expo, kicks off tomorrow at the Los Angeles Convention Center for five days dedicated to computer graphics and interactive technologies, such as visual effects and 3D animation. A series of videos preview the cutting edge CGI to be featured at the event.

SIGGRAPH 2010, the world’s largest computer graphics expo, kicks off tomorrow at the Los Angeles Convention Center for five days dedicated to computer graphics and interactive technologies.

The scope of the massive event (25,000 attendees expected) stretches to include everything from experimental scientific visualization to major Hollywood studio visual effects and 3D animation.

Highlights include a 3-day Computer Animation Festival and a panel featuring “TRON: Legacy” filmmakers.

Check out the trailers below for a taste of what could eventually land on the big screen or in your living room in the near future. These could also be found on the Association for Computer Machinery’s (ACM) YouTube channel.
