The closer we get to next month's South by Southwest conference, the more I hear the question "Are you going?" The answer is yes, of course. However, that's led me to wonder who else is going to the event.

SXSW 2009 poses to pack a serious punch in terms of content for the Interactive, Music and Film events. Unfortunately for me I am only going to be able to make Interactive, however I am most excited about the networking opportunities that will come out of just being there and talking to people in the hallways.

Have you been wondering who will be there, too? Are you asking, "Who is going to SXSW?" Last year someone started a wiki that got out of control real fast -- and it wasn't really sorted by event. I decided this morning to get a jump on things and create a new SXSW 2009 wiki (thanks PBWiki!) that sorts attendees into Interactive, Music or Film. (Update: My buddy Ken Yeung had this idea, too, so now we're co-conspirators for SXSW wiki-ness). It also includes a room share page and a session list (you can add your own!).

If you're going to any of the SXSW conferences, please fill out this wiki with the requested details. I'll be checking it a couple times a day to try and keep it as clean as possible. If you have suggestions for additional info please let me know and we can work to make it even more comprehensive. Note that this wiki is not officially supported by SXSW.

Also, if you're not going to SXSW but are looking for interest groups on Twitter, here are a few of my favorites:

Hockey Twits

Security Twits

Ham Radio Twits

Check them out and network, network, network!
