Could we organize a SETI-like approach to finding terrorists so that we can put a stop to this perpetual war?

Couldn't we all just take a few acres of remote countryside, fresh digital satellite images, and see if we could spot resupply activities, suspicious movements, or other signs of Osama Bin Laden and his allies?

Then maybe the capture of these mass murderers will help put an end to this war and we won't need the laws that limit civil freedoms? And we won't need to spend the huge security tax on military and police services?

And we can all get back to the business of peace, which is far more lucrative than the business of war, imho.

  • Great idea!

I love the idea! It would give the millions of people who are internet users and who want this terrorism to stop an opportunity to make a positive contribution.

I could throw some "but what about" kinds of questions, but that would only muddy the waters and get people arguing about unimportant details, while the important concept slides out of sight.
