Give us your views on Vista upgrades

The Windows Vista upgrade path is looking a bit steep for some, going by the comments we've seen. Take Wolfie78, for instance, who posted a Talkback to say that his company won't be touching Vista yet because of compatibility issues.

The oh-so-elusive Microsoft cab

Inspired by end-of-week lethargy, and despite the suspicion of it being a bit ungreen, I thought I'd have a shot this morning at catching one of those free Microsoft cabs. Notting Hill Gate seemed a likely enough spot--inside Zones 1 and 2, nice busy road--so I found a pavement spot with a clear view both ways and got ready to ride.

Who owns your old email messages?

Over in our Forums section, a member named The Chief has asked for clarification on this: "if a member of staff leaves a company, is the email address that he was using (eg joebloggs@mycompany.com) owned by him or the company?

Did you know? How to get indexed by Technorati

This will be old news, of course, to the ZDNet faithfuls--Matt Loney pointed a while ago to Mike Barrett's advice on making your Community blog visible to Technorati. For those who don't know, Technorati is a search engine that combs the blogosphere for answers to queries--but it will only do this with blogs it is tracking.
