Acer rolls out Veriton Z410G, Z290G all-in-one desktops; starts at $599

Acer America has spruced up the Veriton all-in-one desktop line with a pair of newbies: the 18.5-inch Z290G and the 21.5-inch Z410G.

Acer America has spruced up the Veriton all-in-one desktop line with a pair of newbies: the 18.5-inch Z290G and the 21.5-inch Z410G.

Being in the same series, these two desktops share a lot of similarities, consisting of Windows 7 Professional,  a multi-in-one card reader, a 320GBhard drive, 2GB of DDR3 SDRAM (upgradeable to 4GB), 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Ethernet, headphone/microphone jacks, a mouse, and a matching PS/2 keyboard.

Here's where the Veriton desktops differ (slightly):

Z290G

  • 18.5-inch widescreen resistive touch LCD
  • Intel Atom D525 ultra-low-voltage processor
  • Connectivity: Four USB 2.0 ports

Z410G (pictured above)

  • 21.5-inch HD LCD monitor (Full HD 1080p resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 5ms response time)
  • IntelPentiumE5700 dual-core processor
  • Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500
  • Connectivity: Eight USB 2.0 ports, eSATA, VGA, DVI

Both of these updated Veriton all-in-ones will roll out this month. Pricing starts at $599 for the Z290G and jumps a tad to $719 for the Z410G.
