Acer is updating its consumer-and business-friendly S Series displays with the addition of five new models.
On the highest end is the s230HL, 27-inch display that offers 1920 X 1080 resolution in addition to DVI and HDMI ports. Available in April, the monitor will sell for $329.
At a slightly lower price point is the s235HL, a 23" monitor that comes equipped with VGA and HDMI ports embedded in its base. Easily the most attractive of the monitors Acer has announced, the s235HL seems to take the same approach that Samsung did with its recently-announced Series 9 monitor. Clearly, asymmetrical monitor designs are in this year. Like the s230HL, the s235HL will be available in April, when it will sell for $219.
Rounding out Acer's announcements are the s200HL, s230HL, and S230HL abii. Available now, the three monitors offer varying screen sizes and combinations of VGA, DVI, and HDMI ports. Prices range from $139 for the 20-inch s200HL to S230HL abii for the 23-inch S230HL abii.
