Aigo has debuted their tablet computer, the N700, which boasts some impressive specs, including a 7-inch touchscreen and NVIDIA Tegra 2 graphics.

Powered by an ARM Cortex A9 1GHz processor and running on Android 2.1, the N700 looks like a solid tablet option. The N700 also retains software support for Flash 10.1 and MS Office, and there’s also support for 1080p HD video playback. For reading and overall viewing flexibility, there’s a built-in accelerometer for toggling the screen and an ambient light sensor.

Here’s some of what else is packed into the Aigo N700 tablet:

  • 7-inch multitouch display (800 x 480 resolution, 16 million colors)
  • 512MB of DDR2 memory
  • 4/16/32GB of onboard storage
  • Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • Optional 3G
  • Compass
  • 2-cell 3,120mAh battery
  • microSD slot (32GB max)
  • SIM card slot
  • 1.3-megapixel camera
  • Dual speakers
  • Connectivity: USB, HDMI, audio in/out

Unfortunately, Aigo hasn’t announced when (or where) we’ll see this tablet first, nor how much it will cost yet.

This is awesome, cannot wait for more products like this
to hit the market. However, I am still waiting for
Motion Ink's code name Adam. It
will be nice to see a comparison of tablets of this type,
since I am not remotely interested in anything Apple
produces. (not saying I don't think Apple's products are
good, just that I don't like their business model and as
such refuse to support them by buying their products, I
do not even use iTunes or Quicktime)

It is fantastic. It could be Ipad killer if the
price cheaper and not so arrogant as Apple Inc.
But screen is to small, should be minimum 10".
Otherwise what good is 1080p support on a 800x480 screen?
