AMD-based, lightweight MSI X370 notebook now shipping

Unveiled earlier this month, MSI’s 3.1-pound X370 notebook computer is now available and shipping.

Running on a AMD Dual-Core E-350 APU platform, the X370 is a sleek and budget-friendly option for business travelers with a price tag of $599.99.

The X370 would better for multimedia and entertainment use with AMD Radeon HD 6310 Discrete-Class Graphics, SRS PC Sound technology, Microsoft DirectX 11 support and a 13.4-inch HD, LED-backlit display. But best of all, it boasts a 10-hour battery life. Then there are plenty of other basic specs like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, a 1.3-megapixel webcam and up to 640GB of hard drive space.

A side tidbit: In a tie-in with the launch, MSI is teaming up with Smallbean, a Boston-based non-profit, to donate ten X-Series notebooks and build an educational and cultural hub in a rural community in Tanzania.

At $700 less than the 13-inch MacBook Air, the MSI X370 is a budget-friendly alternative to that machine for those looking for an ultraportable that lasts a long time on a charge. we buy houses

And very stylish too... I have a feeling Intel is going to feel the hit on the low end this year.
