If you've heard of Karim Rashid before, it's probably from his design of the Dirt Devil Kone vacuum cleaner.  The 10-inch Eee PC 1008P is available in pink and brown colors, with a design that can best be described as regimented rectangular lines over a wavy texture.

Rashid's signature is reproduced on the wrist wrest.

Otherwise, you'll find that the new 1008P has a 10.1-inch 1,024x600 LED backlit display, Windows 7 Home Premium, 1GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, Bluetooth connectivity and a three-cell lithium battery.

It tips the scales at 2.5 lbs, and will likely run $499.
