AT&T's Samsung Galaxy S II to land October 2nd for $199
Summary: A week after Sprint launched its own version of the Galaxy S II, AT&T is finally getting ready to do the same.
With Sprint's version of Samsung's Galaxy S II already in stores, AT&T is also nearing the launch of its own version of the phone.
Samsung's latest Galaxy phone will hit AT&T on October 2nd for $199 with a two contact. That price point isn't too big of a surprise considering that it's in line with the price of both Sprint's version of the phone and Android smartphones in general. No complaints there.
In case you forgot, the Galaxy S II comes equipped with a 1.2GHz dual-core Exynos processor, a 4.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen, and 16GB of storage. So it's a pretty good phone, all told.
Now the big question is, where's T-Mobile's version of the Galaxy S II? The company has been pretty sparse on the details so far, only going as far to announce a vague "fall" release date. Hopefully T-Mobile subscribers won't be left out for too much longer.
