AT&T is expanding its Wi-Fi hotspot offerings with new spots in popular tourist areas in New York City and San Francisco.

In Manhattan, AT&T will be widening the range in the existing Times Square hotzone in time for New Year's Eve this Friday. Additionally, AT&T will be plunking down a hotzone near Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

San Franciscans will have to wait a tad longer (at least until whenever "soon" is) when AT&T will launch a hotzone at Embarcadero Center.
