The BBC iPlayer app has already launched in the United Kingdom, but now we finally have a price of how much it will cost when it goes international.

According to The Guardian, the international app and subscription will "cost less than $10 (£6.13)" when it debuts later this year. The entertainment app filled with BBC programming is expected to drop in the United States in June. If you don't already have access to BBC America and you happen to be addicted to British version of The Apprentice, then this is a definite bargain.

BBC iPlayer is actually available for Android-based tablets as well - at least across the pond. However, The Guardian article only addresses the iPad, so hopefully this oversight doesn't mean that the BBC iPlayer won't be popping up in the U.S. Android Market as well.

Most news sites give their apps away for free - but not the BBC.
