CES 2010: HP announces Pavilion Elite HPE desktops; Quad-core, 15-in-1 card reader

Summary: CES 2010: HP on Wednesday announced four new Pavilion Elite HPE desktops with new processors and a bevy of features targeting performance and crisp style.

HP on Wednesday announced four new Pavilion Elite HPE desktops with new processors and a bevy of features targeting performance and crisp style.

The 110f, 120f, 130f, and 170f “high performance edition” models do so by offering a choice of processors — AMD Phenom II Quad-Core or future Intel Core –  as well as ATI Radeon or NVIDIA GeForce graphics.

The desktops can be configured for up to 2TB storage and 24GB of DDR3 memory. Features include a front panel 15-in-1 card reader, DVD burner, 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity, optional TV tuner, pocket media drive, and Blu-ray.

VGA capabilities and support for DirectX 10.1.

• Front-panel 15-in-1 memory card reader

• Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
• 8GB DDR3 system memory

• NVIDIA GeForce GT220 graphics card with 1GB dedicated graphics memory
• Wireless LAN 802.11a/b/g/n
• Front-panel 15-in-1 memory card reader
• Built in TV Tuner watch, pause, rewind, and record live TV

• Intel Core i7-920 processor

HP did not announce pricing or availability for the systems.
