Dish Network, which claims to be the "only pay-TV provider to offer a true TV everywhere solution" is now extending its grasp with the new Remote Access for iPad app.

iPad owners with a broadband-connected, Sling-enabled device (i.e. Sling Adapter) will be able to watch live and recorded television programming on the 9.7-inch display. Users will also be able to browse and search through up to nine days of programming, schedule DVR recordings, manage conflicts, and delete content on multiple receivers.

Furthermore, the iPad can be used as a very large remote control for Dish, just like with TiVo (and probably countless other random applications).

The app itself is free and available to download from iTunes now.
