Fujitsu Japan has another one of those “world’s first” introductions for us. This time it’s the Esprimo FH99/CM, which is being boasted as the world’s first glasses-free 3D desktop.
The 23-inch widescreen hosts a full HD, naked-eye 3D panel. Not much else is revealed about the big selling point, but here’s a look at the rest of the big specs on this Fujitsu machine:
- Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
- Intel Core i7-2630QM 2.00GHz processor
- Intel H65 Express chip set
- 4GB of memory
- 2TB hard drive
- Blu-ray drive (3D support)
- IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi
- Gigabit Ethernet
- Connectivity: Two USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports
The Esprimo FH99/CM will make its market debut in Japan on February 25, retailing for approximately $3,100. No word on a US launch plan just yet, but with that price tag, it might worth it just to put the 3D-ready glasses on.
