Google has been working to improve the use of Google Docs on the iPad with a couple of different options for users working on-the-go.

There isn’t an actual Google Docs app for the iPad, but the Goog has a new, mobile-optimized version of the documents editor ready for Apple’s tablet computer.

However, iPad users also have the option of using the full-fledged desktop editor for tweaking and managing documents and spreadsheets. While Google developers recommend the mobile version, it’s really up to the user and whatever works best for him or her.

Improved mobile editing. Easy when you are starting from such a low base. I found editing anything on the iPad very annoying - another reason ot get a netbook.
Messed with it this morning, definitely a plus!
