In case you’d like an alternative way to tune into Sirius channels while out and about, Grace Digital Audio has debuted the Allegro portable radio, which is Wi-Fi enabled and runs on six AA batteries.
The simply-designed box radio should be easy to tote around (see the measurements above), and operation is made easier thanks to a remote control. Grace has also aimed to make accessing content as simple as possible, with built-in direct support for Pandora, Sirius and Live 365, among others. Beyond that, you should be able to access at least 17,000 radio stations and be able to operate the device in 12 different languages.
Other basic functions include an alarm clock with snooze (always necessary) and playback of most music file formats (i.e. MP3, WMA, Real Audio, WAV, AAC, AIFF). Two more possible charging methods are using an optional NiMH rechargeable battery or an AC adapter cable.
