Hewlett Packard on Wednesday updated its Mini lineup of netbooks with new designs to appeal to your kids.

The new designs subscribe to HP's "MUSE" consumer design philosophy, which stands for materials, usability, sensory appeal, experiences.

In the case of the HP Mini 210, that means two new designs: "preppy pink" and "white crystal." The former is rather neat in that it's a plaid design using HP's three-dimensional "Imprint" tech that makes the lines actually look like they have depth.

The new look of the Mini 210 is available on June 15 and starts at $355.

The HP Mini 110 also received a light refresh, but under the hood. It now offers an integrated six-cell battery that provides up to eight hours of battery life

It will be available on June 15 and starts at $280.
