After causing a bit of a buzz at CES 2010, Inbrics is taking its ultra-slim, Inbrics MID M1 slider handheld on the road to Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona in just over a week.

The mobile Internet device, expected to release in by the end of this year with Android 2.0, will showcase the M1's "3 screen plus" feature. This allows users to share digital media (photos, video, music) with other devices (laptop, TV, etc.) via Wi-Fi, with the M1 serving as the central controller.

Some of the Inbrics M1's highlights:

  • 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED touch screen
  • Full QWERTY keyboard
  • 833 MHz Cortex A-8 processor
  • Wi-Fi 802.11, WiMAX, 3G
  • GPS
  • Bluetooth
  • 3-megapixel camera on the back/VGA camera on the front
  • 720p video playback
  • 16GB of internal memory
  • MicroSD card slot

  • I'm perplexed

How do you get 720p video on a WVGA display?

    • I'm perplexed

      Who is Inbrics?

      • Don't know who they are....

...but they could certainly have a hit on their
hands with that thin slider if the keyboard is any
good. Put a custom face on Android and it would be
        good as gold.

        • I agree. Some of these keyboards

on these phones anymore aren't all that great. That one actually looks like it would be usable, but only a hands on would tell for sure.

    • May be its while streaming

Reading this >> "This allows users to share digital media (photos, video, music) with other devices (laptop, TV, etc.) via Wi-Fi, with the M1 serving as the central controller"

May be it means it can stream 720p videos over wi-fi

    • Beware of what?

Come on... I use itunes for the kids and it wants my email address and hustles me for a credit card 'just in case' & 'to save me time later'.

I know what bothers me more; but maybe you're in the know. Spill the beans!
