It's June 15, so you know what that means: the iPhone 4 is up for pre-order now. Well, only if you want the iPhone in black, that is.

Apple's online store went down earlier while most likely prepping for the pre-sale and inundation of visitors today. The iPhone 4 should be available for pre-order in the U.S., U.K., France, Germany and Japan today through Apple or their respective service providers. And just like the iPad, the limit is two per customer.

However, if you were counting on ordering the white version, you'll be a bit disappointed as it is not available for pre-order or ready in-store pickup on Thursday, June 24 like the black counterpart. Bummer. It's most likely that Apple isn't making as many of these, so you'll just have to get in line next week or order one from the website when it becomes available.
