Kobo is trying to get consumers interested in its Vox eReader, and there's probably no better way to do that than by letting people to use it for themselves.

Today's news certainly aids in that effort, as Kobo announces that Best Buy's physical stores are the latest home to its eReader.

As always, this is a big move in getting the device in the hands of American consumers, who have limited experience with the Vox so far.

Of course, Best Buy has already offered the device in its online store, but it's certainly a bigger deal now that the Vox is getting some shelf space.

Kobo's Vox eReader isn't the most well-known device out there. Announced without too much fanfare back in October, the device is meant to take on the likes of Amazon's Kindle Fire and Barnes & Noble's Nook Color, both of which Best Buy also sells.

Retailing for $199, the Vox features a 7-inch 1024 x 600 resolution display, a 800MHz processor, 8GB of internal storage, 7 hours of battery life, and 512MB of RAM.
