Lenovo's LePhone, the new Google Android OS-powered smartphone revealed at CES 2010, will be available in just a few short months.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the LePhone will be rolled out in China this May, then other "overseas markets later this year."

Considering Google and China are having a bit of a spat right now, it was questionable how these Google-based phones would be affected. This week, Google made moves to delay the release of the Samsung GT-i6500U and Motorola XT701 in China.

Nevertheless, Lenovo is pushing on, planning a launch on not one, but three Chinese service providers: China Unicom, China Mobile and China Telecom.

For now, the rest of us are just going to have to sit back and wait.
