Logitech on Thursday unveiled a lineup of HD webcams and its Vid HD videoconferencing software.

At the top of the list is the flagship HD Pro Webcam C910, which offers 720p video calling, 1080p video recording and one-click HD-uploading to Facebook and YouTube.

It has two microphones — one on each side of the lens — and is rather thin, at just 25 mm deep. It can take 10-megapixel still photographs.

Behind that model comes the HD Webcam C510, which has a foldable portable design and 360-degree swivel rotation. It can take 8-megapixel still photographs.

Rounding out the offerings are two bargain HD webcams, the 5-megapixel HD Webcam C310 and the 3-megapixel HD Webcam C270.

Logitech’s previously-announced Vid HD software allows for simple high-definition video chat. It’s included with all new Logitech webcams. (It’s also available for free download on Logitech’s website.)

All of the new HD webcams are certified for use with Skype and Windows Live Messenger.

Prices and availability are as follows:

  • Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910: $99.99; available in August in E.S., Europe and Asia.
  • Logitech HD Webcam C510: $59.99; available in June in U.S. and Europe and Asia in August.
  • Logitech HD Webcam C310: $49.99; available in U.S.
  • Logitech HD Webcam C270: $39.99; available in U.S. in June, Europe in July, Asia in August.
