The Motorola Droid 2 is available now, but Star Wars fans won’t have to wait too much longer until the special R2-D2 version hits stores.
Rumored last month and then confirmed earlier this week, a special preview poster of the Droid 2 dressed up as everyone’s original favorite droid was posted at the Star Wars convention in Florida. I have to admit that it looks a lot better than I expected, which was some tiny decal on the regular backside of the smartphone. (Although, my R2-D2 cookie jar is still my favorite memorabilia piece.)
Not much is expected to be different with this limited version, except some exclusive content from the blockbuster franchise and perhaps a larger price tag.
