MSI is now shipping its first wave of new computers powered by AMD CPUs and GPUs. Let's take a closer look at the CR650 laptop and Wind Top AE2050 All-in-One desktop PC.

First up is the CR650, a "media notebook" that is powered by a dual-core AMD E-350 processor with AMD Radeon HD 6310 Discrete-Class graphics. These specs compliment the Microsoft DirectX 11 as well as Cinema Pro technology for enhanced video playback on the 15.6-inch display. Along with an HDMI output slot to transfer videos to the nearest HDTV, users can also take advantage of the 720p HD integrated webcam.

All of those powerful specs, however, will eat away at the battery life quickly. The CR650 can only survive for a maximum of six hours on a single full charge.

Then we have the Wind Top AE2050, with the exact same processing power and graphics card. However, there are some extra perks, such as the 20-inch touch screen (16:9 aspect ratio; 1,600 x 900 resolution), a 500GB hard drive and two USB 3.0 ports. Otherwise, the specs are run-of-the-mill, but at least budget-friendly.

Available from Newegg and Amazon, the CR650 retails for $499.99, while the AE2050 starts at $679.99.
