Scrolling through browsers on the touchscreen of your tablet computer or MID might be getting easier. N-trig has introduced the N-act Hands-on gesture vocabulary technology that they’ve developing, which should be appearing on devices with multi-touch devices this year.
The multi-touch solution will allow for more flexibility when working with a touchscreen. Users will be able to make gestures using up to four fingers and both hands at once. There are a number of preset maneuvers to this, including tapping three fingers simultaneously on the screen to display all open windows in a 3D formation. You could also tap three fingers twice simultaneously to minimize all open windows to display the desktop. Almost sounds like magic tricks.
While no devices have been named specifically, this should come pre-loaded on some tablets by the end of 2010. It only works with Windows 7 for now.
