Netflix has seriously strengthened its "Watch Instantly" service thanks to a new deal now that the online streaming service has confirmed an agreement with NBC Universal.

Starting next week, the "multi-year" agreement will bring a wealthy catalog of entertainment from the Peacock network and its partners. Shows that will be entirely available (meaning all prior seasons) include Friday Night Lights, Psych, In Plain Sight, and Monk.

Then NBC will offer up every episode from the most recent season of staple shows like 30 Rock, The Office and Law & Order: SVU. Some of these shows already have prior seasons up on Watch Instantly, and while it would be nice to have current season episodes available for streaming as well, let's take what we can get for now.

Battlestar Galactica and Saturday Night Live will also be available in large quantities, the latter of which will include episodes from every single season of the cornerstone franchise. Best of all, current SNL broadcasts will be available the day after it airs for the 2010, 2011 and 2012 seasons.

So who doesn't want to sign up for Netflix now?
