T-Mobile USA and Nokia have gotten together to announce the impeding release of the Nokia E73 Mode. Even though the QWERTY keyboard looks bigger than the display, it's a more than decent smartphone with what looks to be a budget-friendly price.

The 3G-ready phone is targeted towards those looking to maintain a steady work/life balance, which they say can be promoted using the signature Switch Mode function. Essentially, customizable home screens. The keyboard is obviously the most emphasized tool on this phone. Not only does the E73 Mode boast the thinnest full QWERTY keyboard available on a T-Mobile smartphone, Nokia has also incorporated Mail for Exchange for all the busy worker bees to automatically sync corporate e-mail, contacts and calendar.

Most of the other features are fairly straight-forward, like the 5-megapixel AF camera with flash, Wi-Fi, Adobe Flash support, an media player and an HTML browser. And being a Nokia device, there is direct access to Ovi Maps with onboard GPS and the Ovi Store.

The Nokia E73 Mode will be available in T-Mobile stores and online starting on June 16. The cost hasn't been specified yet, but many blogs are pointing towards a $69.99 price point with the signing of a new two-year contract.
