The DMP-BDT350 can provide the full 3D experience in your living room...so long as it is coupled with a 3D HD Plasma TV and a pair of fancy 3D glasses. (And I think it will be a little more than just the ones you can find inside a cereal box.)
We don't have a confirmed price nor release date yet, but here's what we do know that it will have Wi-Fi and support Panasonic's signature VieraCast streaming content system. Some of the online portals that will be accessible include:
- Amazon Video on Demand
- Google Picasa
- Fox Sports
Don't get too excited yet. While there's a lot of content right there, there aren't a lot of Blu-ray discs made yet for 3D watching at home. It will probably take awhile to get a serious catalog of titles ready for that. Not to mention that being one of the first of its kind, its going to be darn expensive.
Regardless though, it's an impressive development - one that might change the home entertainment market entirely someday.
