Who needs a DualShock 3 controller in boring black when you can have one in pink? Don’t worry, this will become a reality this month.
For $54.99, the bubblegum-shaded wireless controller for Sony PlayStation 3 will be available on September 21.
In accordance with Joystiq, it is a bit peculiar that Gamestop advertises this gaming peripheral as the “exclusive color for female gamers and households with kids.” While pink isn’t exactly the most common color seen on gaming devices (I’d argue that white is the most gender-neutral choice), that isn’t to say there aren’t buyers outside of these demographics who might want a little extra color in their lives.
Any takers?
