After rolling out on the iPhone 4 and the latest iPod touch, it looks like Apple has further plans for FaceTime. Rumor has it that the video communication program is destined for Mac OS X and even Windows-based computers.

It is being reported that when iLife ‘11 rolls out soon, FaceTime will be integrated into the newest version of iChat for Mac OS X systems. Yet no one is sure how this will be launched for Windows. Perhaps it will surface in the form of its own separate software program. We’ll have to wait and see.

FaceTime is also supposed to make its way to the iPad eventually, but we probably won’t know more about that (officially) until a second-gen version is unveiled, likely early next year.

This is one thing I hope they bring to android tablets, I use it all the time on my iPhone to chat with my girlfriend who is in college 2 hours away.

They will add facetime to iTunes bloating that software up even more than it already is. On the bright side, you'll now be able to video chat with your favorite artists. Its also going to allow your favorite artists to stream their concerts to you through Ping.

Actually, I guessed it would be bundled into itunes as well... But I seriously doubt you will be able to see concerts nor do I think Ping will be integrated to facetime... Why would an artist give away the milk for free, who would be left to buy the cow???
@Loverock Davidson ...see that dead horse over there? You keep reloading! You are a one trick pony man. Let it go.
