Gateway isn't alone with introducing a stellar display this morning, as Samsung has one of its own with an incredible 1ms response time.

The 27-inch P2770FH LCD is already a quality monitor based on the rest of its spec sheet. That includes a full HD 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, 70,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, an enriched color gamut and 170°/160° viewing angles. Don't forget about the HDMI, VGA and DVI inputs to connect to a variety of different devices like Blu-ray players and gaming consoles.

But the most notable detail is the 1ms response time landmark, especially important for video editors and even gamers. Bringing a more precise picture to the table, the extra speedy response time should reduces motion blur and ghosting effects to almost nothing.
