It's official: T-Mobile's 4G Mobile Hotspot will be available in stores starting tomorrow, April 13.

T-Mobile has confirmed (via Twitter) that the ZTE-built device will retail for $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and with the signing of a two-year service agreement for a data plan.

Highly portable with its compact design and only weighing 2.64 ounces, the 4G hotspot is touted to produced speeds up to 21Mbps and can provide coverage for up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices.

It also sports an OLED screen to display important stats (i.e. number of connected devices, signal strength, battery level, etc.) and an SD card slot that supports up to 32GB of extra storage space.

    apparently not designed for families... It is possible for one individual to use up 5 connections with a game system, tv, computer, ipod touch and wifi phone. If you have multiple people in the household with wifi phones or ipod touch devices, this device may not be for your household.

      Mobile hotspots are never replacement for cable service at home.

        I have never mentioned that the article mentioned about it. I am just replying to above poster, who wanted to share the mobile hotspot for the entire family, of course he may be wanting to share that when is traveling, but still TV, computer etc. will not travel unless you want to watch TV in a motel with your internet and computer means a Laptop while traveling. But still I wouldn't watch TV on my internet definitely while traveling.
