Samsung isn’t alone in introducing a new tablet today. Toshiba’s Folio 100 made its debut today as well at IFA 2010 in Berlin.
The 10.1-inch Folio 100 seems like a standard tablet device on paper, without any exceptional features to note besides access to the Toshiba Marketplace for apps and music. Here’s a rundown of the specs that are available on this Android 2.2-powered device:
- 10.1-inch capacitive multi-touch display (1,024 x 600 resolution)
- Nvidia Tegra 2 processor
- 16GB onboard storage space
- SD/MMC card reader
- 3G
- 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR
- Supports DLNA, Adobe Flash 10.1
- 1.3-megapixel webcam
- Connectivity: mini-HDMI, USB 2.0
- Battery life: Up to seven hours
The Folio 100 is due to roll out across Europe, Middle East and Africa during the fourth quarter of this year, with a suggested retail price of €399 ($512).
