Toshiba has a string of product announcements today. Let’s start with taking a closer look at the glossy-black BDX1200 and BDX3200 standalone Blu-ray disc players.

Both models offer full HD (1,920 x 1,080p resolution) video playback with Dolby True HD audio and support for the following file formats in case you want to stick in a USB drive: MKV, DivX, MP3, JPEG.

However, the BDX3200 is really the star here with 3D support and Toshiba’s Regza-Link technology when pairing the Blu-ray disc player with an HDMI-CEC-compatible television.

Pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but both of these Toshiba Blu-ray disc players will be launched in Europe this month.

Toshiba's biggest problem...

They have lost credibility with us because they don't honor their warranty on products shipped with damage. They claim customer abuse to avoid warranty claims when items were damaged in shipping. Buyer beware.
