The Toshiba NB550D received some attention a few weeks ago as the netbook is set to be one of the first of its kind sporting an AMD Fusion C-50 “Ontario” APU. Too bad it won't be popping up stateside.

According to Liliputing, Toshiba reps have said "the company doesn’t currently plan to offer the NB550D in the United States." However, it does look like the Toshiba NB550D will be shipped to Europe and Australia.

If you're desperate to try out the AMD C-50 technology, then wait for the Acer Aspire One 522, which is up for pre-ordering with a retail price of $329.
